Anna was a such a special person: endlessly thoughtful, insightful, and interesting, with her very own take on the world. She was a kind and loyal friend to me at secondary school, and I very much regret losing touch with her. I recently found a letter she had typewritten to me in which she referred to the Tao of Pooh that she was so fond of, and it brought a rush of memories of gentle, interesting times with Anna. I was always so impressed by the way Anna did not follow the herd as a teenager, instead staying true to her own self and finding that people were as attracted to her peacefulness as they were to the rest of us who were louder and unsure of who we were. I miss you, Anna. Kirsty Sutton
